Package Free Lunch

In May 2016 we held a secret Package Waste Collection Lunchtime.  Our Eco Councillors collected 1,250 kg of packaging waste and showed this during a "Wastebusters" Assembly where they tried to encourage children to bring food items in containers or washable bags.

 

Can the children beat this weight during our Package Free Lunch on Thursday 26 May 2016?  Update coming soon!

 

Update:  We did it! Our Package Free Lunch collected 750g.  Well done all Eco Warriors, you helped us save 500g of packaging waste!!!
