Carnarvon Primary School received the coronavirus (COVID-19) catch-up premium grant in the academic year 2020 to 2021.
We intend to utilise the money on employing extra teaching assistants to run 1:1 sessions with pupils whose learning has been affected by time away from school.
The children who have been targeted, have been assessed as not achieving Expected Standard at Baseline assessment in September 2020 when they had done so on transition to the year in September 2019. After catch-up, they should be attaining Expected Standard again by July 2021.
