Our Allotment

Some of you will have enjoyed the fresh vegetables from our allotment at our weekly 'Little Farmers Market Stall'.  We have worked hard all year planting, weeding, watering and generally tending our crops.

We have incorporated the ethos of reduce, re-use and recycle.  Look out for our innovative use of 'waste' - we have turned it into exciting and useful items in the allotment area. Not least of which is our polytunnel, largely made from 2 litre pop bottles.  Our raised bed are made from old furniture crates, lined with donated carpets.  Our herb garden is planted in old tyres and we recycle our food waste, leaves, grass cuttings etc into our compost bins.

Our efforts have won us the Notts Wildlife Trust 'Green Guardians' award in the 'Education and the Environment' category.
On Friday 27th September we have a Preloved clothing sale in the school office from 2pm and the Foundation Parents' Coffee and Cake afternoon for Macmillan is from 2.45pm-3.30pm. Please check our calendar under the Parent Tab, for information on all events and trips taking place.
