YEAR 4 SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS - FEBRUARY 2016

Congratulations to our magnificent Year 4 athletes who achieved 3rd place at the Sporthall Athletics Finals on Friday 5th February; not bad considering that over 50 teams entered the competition!

YEAR 4’s SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS COMPETITION

Following a couple of after-school training sessions, our Year 4's took part in a Sportshall athletics competition at South Notts Academy. Whilst the frenzied screams and shouts of encouragement from the participants during the races was far too loud for the adults, it served to bring out their best performance: our 'A' team won the heat, whilst Carnarvon 'B' finished 6th out of 9 teams. They'll now be practising hard for their respective finals in a few weeks! Well done all of you and thank you to all those parents who provided transport and vocal support!

Non-uniform day is on Wednesday 18th October, to raise money for the Rosie-May Foundation..................£1 per child for non-uniform and 20p each to buy a cake............Cake sale after school for parents..................
