Roman Day

20th October 2017

We had a fantastic day on Roman Day. We all dressed up in wonderful Roman costumes, made shields, created mosaics, tried 'Roman food' and had a Roman battle with our shields!

On Tuesday 10th October, Year 4 had a Design and Technology day. We examined and evaluated photo frames from home and then we planned and created our own Roman themed ones. We really enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to finishing them off over the next week.
As part of our Stone Age topic, we all ventured out into the school grounds to experience how it felt to forage for food. It was great fun and we found lots!
We used the medium of pastel to create these sunset pictures of Stonehenge. We really enjoyed making these!
Whole school non-uniform day is on Friday 19th October, wear one item that is red or blue please. For information on events and trips, please look under the Parents Tab and Calendar.
