PUPIL PARLIAMENT (May 2017)
Spencer and Phoebe from Year 6 had a great time in London last Friday visiting the Houses of Parliament. They were accompanied by Miss Cooke and children from 27 other schools from within the Rushcliffe area. The children had the opportunity to look around the Houses of Parliament, take part in a 'debating workshop' at Parliament's Education Centre and they also enjoyed a walk to St James' Park.
Both children were a credit to Carnarvon and their knowledge about politics was particularly impressive!
Please find details below on the defibrillator, which we have purchased both for school use and for the local community.
We have received funding to cover some of the cost of the unit and installation. We would really appreciate any donations you could make to cover the remaining balance.
INTERNATIONAL DAY - FRIDAY 10th FEBRUARY 2017
The whole school took part in an International Day on 10th February. A different Country was chosen by each Year group: Foundation - France, Year 1 - Russia, Year 2 - Italy, Year 3 - India, Year 4 - Tanzania, Year 5 - Peru and Year 6 - New Zealand.
Take a look at the photos below, to see what the children have been experiencing.......

CHRISTMAS FAIR - Friday 18 November 2016
Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas Fair on Friday. It was lovely to see you all and we really appreciate your support. We would also like to thank the Year 6 children who managed their own stalls and all the staff who helped out, especially Mrs Howells for planning everything. It was a very busy night and we raised a whopping £2613!!
This money will be used towards the cost of upgrading the Foundation Unit outdoor space. This is a large project and we will be doing further fundraising next year.
